YEREVAN, 15 October. / ARKA /. Artsakh Fruit, a fruit processing company in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), plans to increase output by 30-40% in 2013, according to its deputy executive manager Narek Gasparyan.

He said to ARKA that the company, founded about five years ago, operates about 15 percent of Armenian agricultural products processing capacity.

"At present, we are working to expand our capacity as the demand for our products exceeds supply. According to our forecasts, in 2013 August we are very likely to increase production by 30-40%, " he said.

According to Gasparyan, currently Artsakh Fruit produces about 1 million cans per year of about 35 different kinds of jams, preserves and canned vegetables. Annual sales amount in terms of money to 450-500 million drams and 90% of products are exported to Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, France and the United Arab Emirates.

"We are using the latest European technology in the processing of our products, which are 100% natural, environmentally pure and with no additives," he said. -0-
