Customs officers in Armenia foiled an attempt to smuggle 14.5 thousand packs of contraband cigarettes into the country, the State Revenue Committee reports.

YEREVAN, 8 November. /ARKA/. Customs officers in Armenia foiled an attempt to smuggle 14.5 thousand packs of contraband cigarettes into the country, the State Revenue Committee reports.

The Agarak customs point’s officers found 29 boxes of undeclared cigarettes VAN, Marlboro Nano, Marlboro, LAMER, and Wisdom brands.

The cigarettes belonged to citizen A.A., who attempted to import them from Iran. A protocol was drawn up on attempted illegal import. --0--
