Bank VTB Bank (Armenia) is second among Armenia-based banks in terms of retail business loan portfolio accounting for 12.6% of the market., the bank’s CEO, Yuri Gusev, said today at a news conference.
YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. Bank VTB Bank (Armenia) is second among Armenia-based banks in terms of retail business loan portfolio accounting for 12.6% of the market., the bank’s CEO, Yuri Gusev, said today at a news conference.
"We have revised the structure of our loan portfolio, as we are introducing new products in cooperation with Bank VTB24, expanding the list of our products. It gives its fruit, and at the end of 2011 our retail business loan portfolio amounted to 58 billion drams," he said.
"Over two years, our loan portfolio grew by 120%, which is very important. In the past two years we grew significantly faster than the market," he said.
According to the Bank VTB24 chairman, Mikhail Zadornov, VTB Group that owns Bank VTB (Armenia), is adapting its tested technology at the local market.
Bank VTB (Armenia), its net profits in 2011 amounted to 1.67 billion drams. The bank's assets soared by 39.2% to 177.5 billion drams, and the total loan portfolio grew by 45.1% to 128 billion drams. -0-
