With the support of Business Armenia, the New Yida company operating with Chinese capital will invest up to $5 million in Armenia with the aim of building a new mineral water bottling factory.

YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. With the support of Business Armenia, the New Yida company operating with Chinese capital will invest up to $5 million in Armenia with the aim of building a new mineral water bottling factory. 

A document to this end has been signed by New Yida CEO,  Luo Gang and the Businessmen Support Team Leader of Business Armenia,  Hayk Mirzoyan, the Business Armenia said.

Yida Group, the founding organization of New Yida is an international multifunctional investment company focusing on various industries.

The company will acquire a land plot in Lichk village of Gegharqunik province for the construction of the factory. In collaboration with the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia, the specialists of Business Armenia’s Business Support team have presented a few mines to the Chinese businessmen. The National Geological Fund specialists were involved in the research phase of the investment program.

“Our Business Support team cooperates with the investors on the establishment of a mineral water factory and starting production on a daily basis. Business Armenia will continue its support during the whole post-investment period,” stated the Businessmen Support Team Leader of Business Armenia,  Hayk Mirzoyan.

“The quality of Armenian mineral waters guarantees that production will succeed and there will be no marketing problem. New Yida’s goal is to make Armenian mineral water well-known in the Chinese market. And the investment program will also have a social impact on the neighboring communities” mentioned New Yida CEO, Luo Gang. 

The factory will start work in autumn," Mirzoyan said. The mineral water will be fully exported to China. According to Mirzoyan, China imports water from France, Austria and other countries at quite high prices. Some 50 new jobs will be created. - 0-
