Citizens of Armenia and Georgia will soon be able to cross the Georgian-Armenian border with ID cards, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Wednesday during a Q&A session in parliament.
YEREVAN, March 5. /ARKA/. Citizens of Armenia and Georgia will soon be able to cross the Georgian-Armenian border with ID cards, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Wednesday during a Q&A session in parliament.
Pashinyan was on an official visit to Georgia on March 3-4.
"Armenia and Georgia signed a memorandum of intent, under which we plan to allow citizens to cross the border using ID cards. We agreed that we will now proceed to implement this agreement," he said.
Pashinyan noted that the meeting with Georgian Prime Minister George Gakhariya was productive. -0-
