The contract handing over High-voltage Electric Networks CJSC to Tashir Capital for discretionary management is already canceled, Armenian Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Minister Arthur Grigoryan told journalists on Wednesday.
YEREVAN, May 30. /ARKA/. The contract handing over High-voltage Electric Networks CJSC to Tashir Capital for discretionary management is already canceled, Armenian Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Minister Arthur Grigoryan told journalists on Wednesday.
On August 24, 2017, the Armenian government decided to hand the company over to Tashir Capital – i.e. 649,231 shares of AMD 13,600 each (the total amount is AMD 8.8 billion).
“We have analyzed the contract and have come to conclusion that it will be more effective and beneficial to leave this organization under the state ownership,” Grigoryan said.
He also denied rumors that Gagik Tsarukyan, head of Tsarukyan bloc is interested in acquiring the CJSC. --0----
