According to officials, the construction of the plant started within the framework of a large investment project after the government, the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and Yeremyan Projects signed a cooperation agreement to ensure food security and sustainable economic development of Armenia's agro-industrial sector.
The plant includes 2 hectares of production areas: 2,500 square metres of warehouses, 1,000 square metres of refrigerated warehouses, 6,000 square metres of milk production workshop, laboratories and a research centre.
The milk processing capacity is 150 thousand litres per day. The plant will increase production capacity, create new types of products and export them to international markets.

EDB allocated $32 million for the project, and the total project budget totalled $43.5 million. The project was the first step in the practical implementation of the trilateral memorandum signed in August 2022. -0-
