YEREVAN, September 22. /ARKA/. The Armenian government granted today the Era Technologies company (Volterman trademark) a 5-year permission to operate in the Alliance free economic zone. The company will produce the so-called smart wallets and pledged to invest $2.3 million in their production, deputy economic development and investment minister Garegin Melkonyan said.
"The company plans to launch the production of smart wallets under Volterman brand and is planning to invest $2.3 million in their production in the first five years," Melkonyan said, adding that the company will create 15 new jobs and expects them to grow to 50 later.
According to the deputy minister, the company plans to export the bulk of its products to the United States, Canada, Singapore, Australia and other countries.
The Smart Wallet Volterman is equipped with five unique features: GPS, which helps the owner easily find it or understand where it is in case of theft, regardless of where in the world it is located. It has a built-in "lost mode" function - a camera that photographs the robber's face as soon as he opens the wallet and sends the photo to the owner's smartphone.
The Volterman is equipped with a "Bluetooth alarm" alert, which synchronizes with the wallet owner's phone and sends audio messages if the distance between the wallet and the owner increases. The wallet has a "power bank" function that allows its owner to charge their phone and other gadgets. Volterman also has Internet thanks to the "Wi-Fi hotspot" function. --0-
