Armenian company Euroterm, trading as Noyan, said it is going to commission soon a new plant for processing of fruits and vegetables. The plant, according to a press release, costs $8 million.
YEREVAN, August 17. /ARKA/. Armenian company Euroterm, trading as Noyan, said it is going to commission soon a new plant for processing of fruits and vegetables. The plant, according to a press release, costs $8 million. It will open in the village of Vanand in Armavir province. Equipped with advanced technologies it will buy about 300-350 tons of fruits and vegetables a day.
According to the press release, as of August 15 Noyan bought 1.6 million kg of fruits and vegetables worth about 220 million drams. Until the end of the procurement period, the company intends to purchase about 3 million kg fruits and vegetables.
During the first half of 2012 the company’s workforce increased to 236 persons from 142 in 2011. The company also raised wages this year by 7%. In January-June 2012 the company paid a total of 208 million drams in taxes, up from 157 million from a year earlier.
Euroterm was founded in 1998. In 1999 it founded Noyan juice producing factory. The company sells its products in Russia, USA, Ukraine, France, Georgia, Iran and other countries.($ 1-411.38 drams). -0-
