Farmers in Armenia will be partially reimbursed for sowing winter wheat
YEREVAN, October 27. /ARKA/. The Armenian government approved on Thursday a decision on partial reimbursement of farmers' cost, cultivating winter crops on areas up to 100 hectares.
The government will reimburse about 50% of the expenses of farms spent on the purchase of seeds, fertilizers and diesel fuel in all regions of Armenia, except for Armavir and Ararat.
The goal is to increase the areas of land under crops through encouraging farmers to grow crops on abandoned land.
The total budget of the reimbursements earmarked for farmers is 2 billion 425 million drams. The reimbursement process will be handled by community authorities based on agreements concluded with the Ministry of Economy until September 15 of this year. ($1 - 396.7 drams). --0--
