Flowerfield company to invest about AMD 1.3 bln in rose growing project
YEREVAN, October 19. /ARKA/. The government of Armenia exempted today Flowerfield Company from customs duties on import of equipment in return for investing about 1.3 billion drams in construction of a rose growing greenhouse.
The company will build a modern greenhouse complex in Kotayk region with a total area of 12,500 square meters to grow different varieties of roses.
The company plans to spend 882 million drams on purchasing imported equipment and 430 million drams on earthwork and equipment installation.
Some 90% of the production is planned to be sold in the Russian Federation. Within the framework of the investment program the company will create 27 new jobs with an average monthly salary of 170 thousand drams. ($1 - 401.82 drams) -0-
