Ginap LLC will invest AMD 2.5 billion in Armenia in production of artificial and plastic flexography, Tigran Khachatryan, the acting economic development and investments minister, said Thursday at the government’s regular session.
YEREVAN, December 7. /ARKA/. Ginap LLC will invest AMD 2.5 billion in Armenia in production of artificial and plastic flexography, Tigran Khachatryan, the acting economic development and investments minister, said Thursday at the government’s regular session.
At the session, the government decided to exempt the company from the customs duty importers of equipment and raw materials pay to promote establishment of production in the area that is among the government’s top priorities.
“The machinery imported by the company will be used for artificial and plastic flexography and production of vacuum packs, as well as packages for cheese, coffee and other commodities,” Khachatryan said.
He said that another AMD 1 billion is planned to be invested in acquiring new machines and AMD 8.9 billion in purchasing raw materials.
In his words, the company has already created 56 jobs and is planning to create other 50 with an average monthly salary of AMD 180,000.
Khachatryan said that the output will amount to AMD 3 billion, of which products worth AMD 2.5 billion will be sold in Armenia’s territory, AMD 300 million in the Eurasian Economic Union member countries and AMD 200 million in other countries. ($1 – AMD 485.26). --0---
