The government of Armenia awarded today a set of customs benefits to several companies, which are supposed to make a total of 45.4 billion drams worth investments.

YEREVAN, May 30 /ARKA/. The government of Armenia awarded today a set of customs benefits to several companies, which are supposed to make a total of 45.4 billion drams worth investments. 

Economic Development and Investments Minister Tigran Khachatryan said the first company is Avalange LLC that was given a 3-year VAT payment deference. He said the company operating in Aragatsotn region plans to build new greenhouses and concurrently create 60 new jobs with an average salary of 120 thousand drams.

He said similar benefits were awarded to Moeff Group LLC, which plans to produce stainless steel sanitary ware in Armavir province. He said the company intends to make investments in the amount of 14.7 billion drams, including import of 14.6 billion drams worth equipment. Over the next three years it is to create 100 jobs with an average salary 130 thousand drams.

A VAT payment deferment was awarded also to GRANT LLC, which manufactures CNG-1 type gas cylinders. The company plans to expand output, make additional investments in the amount of 26.7 billion drams. The company says it will create 50 new jobs with an average salary of 250 thousand drams.

The government also decided to exempt UniversalClosers LLC, which operates in Kotayk region and produces aluminum covers, from customs duties.  As part of its investment program, the company undertakes to make investments in the amount of 2.78 billion drams, to create 27 new jobs with an average salary of 245 thousand drams.
