Import of goods to Armenia by individuals increases

The amount of goods imported to Armenia by individuals, which are exempt from import (customs) duties and taxes has increased, the State Revenue Committee said.

YEREVAN, September 17. /ARKA/. The amount of goods imported to Armenia by individuals, which are exempt from import (customs) duties and taxes has increased, the State Revenue Committee said. It said the import has grown after Armenia made its relevant standards comply with those effective across the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), of which it is a member.
According to the State Revenue Committee, imports both from the EEU member as well as other countries have grown.
In particular, have grown the volumes of imported poultry, trees, coffee and tea, cocoa, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and some other goods. Details on the names of goods and volumes of import which are exempt from customs duties can be found here. -0-
