Large companies in Armenia dismiss some 1,000 people every month, according to Haykakan Zhamanak.
YEREVAN, February 12. /ARKA/. Large companies in Armenia dismiss some 1,000 people every month, according to Haykakan Zhamanak.
The newspaper, referring to its sources in finance and economy ministries, reports that big companies in the country are dismissing more and more people because economic things are getting worse, and it is necessary to cut costs.
Although there are no official data on changes over the last quarter of 2015 so far, it has become known from the finance ministry’s monitoring the number of employees at 520 registered companies has reduced by 3,600 over one year. ---0----
