Lebanese Armenian family want to produce home textile in Armenia

Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investment Suren Karayan met today with a Lebanese Armenian family of Nazarians, who intend to establish production of home textiles in Armenia, in particular, towels and bathrobes.

Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investment Suren Karayan met today with a Lebanese Armenian family of Nazarians, who intend to establish production of home textiles in Armenia, in particular, towels and bathrobes. The company has rich experience in this field in different countries, according to the ministry.
The Lebanese Armenian entrepreneurs were said to have presented their plans to the minister and discussed also f tax and customs related questions, as well as the possibility of import of raw materials. Karayan assured the family that the government is ready to support them, and to use all its tools to assist in solving the existing problems.
He also expressed hope that the company will be able to start production as soon as possible. Entrepreneurs, in turn, noted that they plan to start production later this year. -0-
