The median gross monthly wage in Armenia in February 2015 was 0.7% higher than in January amounting to 174,450 drams ($365 or 23,385 Russian rubles), according to the National Statistical Service.

YEREVAN, April 3. / ARKA /. The median gross monthly wage in Armenia in February 2015 was 0.7% higher than in January amounting to 174,450 drams ($365 or 23,385 Russian rubles), according to the National Statistical Service.
In January 2015 the median gross monthly wage was 173,217 drams, which was about 19.8% less than in December 2014 and 11.1% more than in January 2014.
The highest median monthly gross wage in January 2015 was registered in the southern Syunik region - about 205,200 drams, and the lowest was in central Aragatsotn region - about 121,500 drams. In the capital city Yerevan it was 186,400 drams.
In January 2015 the highest paid jobs were in the mining industry- about 347,300 drams, financial and insurance sectors -345,700 drams and information and communication sector-330,200 drams.
The lowest paid jobs were in education – 113,100 drams, agriculture, forestry and fisheries -115,400 drams, hotels and public catering 122,300 drams and culture, entertainment and leisure – 124,100 drams. ($ 1 - 472.37 drams). -0-
