YEREVAN, April 25./ARKA/. Armenia and Poland signed a memorandum today in Yerevan to establish the Armenian-Polish Commerce and Industry Chamber.

The Polish-Armenian Commerce and Industry Chamber was established two years ago. Its members are 80 entrepreneurs.

This chamber should promote more targeted economic cooperation and more effective bilateral interaction,” Mache Pogosevic, executive director of the Polish-Armenian Commerce and Industry Chamber, said at the signing ceremony.

He said that wider varieties of Armenian products, first of all agricultural products, Armenian wine and brandy, should be offered at the Polish market. He said time has come to enlarge these exports.

Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzisław Raczyński gave the representatives of the Armenian party a map of Poland with place names in Armenian as a gift.

He said that the places with Armenian khachkars (cross-stones) in Poland are marked on this map and added that this is the first map of a European country printed in Armenian language. -0-
