MOEFF Group will invest $30 million into production of sanitary ware in Armenia, Economy Minister Tigran Khachatryan said Thursday at a regular Cabinet meeting. At the meeting, the government decided to provide preferences to the company for importing raw materials and equipment into a very important to the country area.
YEREVAN, September 26. /ARKA/. MOEFF Group will invest $30 million into production of sanitary ware in Armenia, Economy Minister Tigran Khachatryan said Thursday at a regular Cabinet meeting. At the meeting, the government decided to provide preferences to the company for importing raw materials and equipment into a very important to the country area.
The company will invest AMD 14.49 billion in the import of raw materials for production of sanitary ware in Armenia's Armavir province where the company has been operating since 2015.
In his words, the company plans to produce goods worth AMD 23.5 billion, of which goods worth AMD 2.1 billion will be sold in Armenia and the remaining products will mostly be exported to the Eurasian Economic Union member countries.
The minister said that the company now has 31 employees, and it plans to open 150 new jobs with an average salary of AMD 265,000. ($1 - AMD 476.07). -0---
