Over 120 Armenian and foreign companies are showcasing their products at the seventh Pan-Armenian EXPO 2016 that kicked off today at Yerevan Expo exhibition complex and will run until October 9.

YEREVAN, October 7. /ARKA/. Over 120 Armenian and foreign companies are showcasing their products at the seventh Pan-Armenian EXPO 2016 that kicked off today at Yerevan Expo exhibition complex and will run until October 9. The exhibition features such sectors as industry, health, agriculture, food industry, construction, furniture and household appliances, transportation, education, publishing, and tourism.
The director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia Andranik Alexanyan stressed that this exhibition occupies a special place in business development. Hasmik Mkhitaryan, head of Karabakh Carpet company, noted that their company is exhibiting handmade carpets produced in Nagorno-Karabakh. "Participation in the exhibition helps us acquire new customers and promote the Armenian national carpets," - she said.
Anna Babayan from the Foundation for Rural Economic Development, said they are taking part in the exhibition for the first time. "Our foundation has been investing in Armenia's agricultural companies. By participating in the exhibition, we want to provide more information about our organization," she said.
The assistance in the organization of the exhibition was provided by the ministries of Diaspora, economy, agriculture, the Armenian Development Agency and the Municipality of Yerevan ..- 0-
