YEREVAN, April 9. /ARKA/. The Armenian National Assembly passed Tuesday amendments to the tax code. The amendments propose to sell gas at gas-filling stations to car drivers in kilograms, not in cubic meters. The bill was passed unanimously.
Arman Poghosyan, deputy finance minister, presenting yesterday the bill to lawmakers, said that the gas sale in cubic meters creates difficulties, since it forces gas-filling stations to interfere in software and make recalculations.
He also said that this change imposes no additional tax burden on entrepreneurs. -0---
