Nearly 14,000 real property deals made in Armenia in May 2013

YEREVAN, June 28./ARKA/. The number of deals with real property in Armenia accounted to 14,235 in May, which was by 2.1% higher from April and by 10% lower, compared to the same period a year earlier, according to the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia.

YEREVAN, June 28./ARKA/. The number of deals with real property in Armenia accounted to 14,235 in May, which was by 2.1% higher from April and by 10% lower, compared to the same period a year earlier, according to the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia.
The highest number of deals was recorded in Yerevan – 31.5% of all deals, and the smallest number –in Vayots Dzor -1.7%. Kotayk region reported 15.3%, Lori and Gegharkunik -5.3% each , Armavir-13% and Shirak -5.5%.
At the same time, the number of deals in Aragatsotn region accounted for 7.5%, Ararat-7.6%, Tavush and Syunik -4% and 3.3% respectively.
According to the source, the deals on alienation of real property made up 22.4% of the total number of real estate operations. Initial registration of real property accounted for 10.1%
Also some 9.6% of all transactions were inheritance of real property, 11.4% were collaterals, and 3.9% -rents.
The other state registrations made up 42.6% in May.
It is noteworthy that no privatization transaction of immovable property was concluded in May 2013.–0-
