New factory of Armenia’s Euroterm company can process up to 35,000 tons of fruits and vegetables every year

A new factory of Euroterm CJSC traded as Noyan in Armenia will process 30,000 to 35,000 tons of fruits and vegetables every year, Euroterm Director Eduard Ghazaryan said on Wednesday.
YEREVAN, March 28./ARKA/. A new factory of Euroterm CJSC traded as Noyan in Armenia will process 30,000 to 35,000 tons of fruits and vegetables every year, Euroterm Director Eduard Ghazaryan said on Wednesday.
He told journalists that the factory would be launched in mid-June.
The director said that the new factory would produce baby foods, tomato paste and ready-to-cook foods. No juices will be produced here.
The factory can process 350 tons of fruits and tomatoes every day.
Ghazaryan said that the government is now considering room for subsidizing installation of a second high-voltage power line. This four-kilometer 10,000-volt power line will secure non-stop operation to the factory in case of the first line cutoffs.
Euroterm is one of Armenia’s largest companies processing agricultural products and producing juices.
In 1999, Euroterm Russian-Armenian company signed an agreement with Swedish Tetra Pack to acquire up-to-date technological line for producing natural juices in aseptic packs.
The first batch of juices was released in aseptic packs under Noyan brand in December 1999.-0-
