Oracle to set up center of excellence in Armenia

The world's largest software developer, U.S. Oracle, plans to open a center of excellence in Armenia, senior vice president of the company, Alain Blanc, said at a news conference in Yerevan.

YEREVAN, September 13. / ARKA /. The world's largest software developer, U.S. Oracle, plans to open a center of excellence in Armenia, senior vice president of the company, Alain Blanc, said at a news conference in Yerevan.
Blanc declined to divulge the details saying that the company and the Armenian government signed today a memorandum of understanding envisaging implementation of educational programs, evaluation and expansion of the range of services for the government and establishment of the center of excellence.
Blanc said representatives of the company visited a number of Armenian universities and IT companies, and were impressed by the skills of Armenian students and professionals.
Oracle is the world's largest developer of software for corporate clients, a major provider of server hardware, headquartered in California, USA. -0-
