Over 30,000 real estate collateral transactions made in Armenia in 2019

In 2019, a total of 30,072 real estate collateral transactions were made in Armenia, according to the Cadastre Committee. Compared with 2018, the number of transactions was up by 11.6%.
YEREVAN, February 18. /ARKA/. In 2019, a total of 30,072 real estate collateral transactions were made in Armenia, according to the Cadastre Committee. Compared with 2018, the number of transactions was up by 11.6%.
During the reporting period, the largest number of transactions was registered in Yerevan - 52.9% of the total, and the smallest in Vayots Dzor region (1.5%).
Some 10.7% of the transactions were registered in the province of Kotayk, 7.7% in Ararat, 7% in Armavir, 4.5% in Lori, 4.3% in Shirak, 4% in Syunik, 2.6% in Aragatsotn, 2.5% in Tavush and 2.3% is Gegharkunik.
Some 52.2 percent of the transactions involved apartments, 24.8% privately-owned homes, 9.9% public buildings, 8.4% land plots, 3.1% industrial premises and 1.7% garages.
Also, 12,178 real estate rental transactions were completed in 2019. Compared to 2018, the number of such transactions increased by 23.5%. The largest number of transactions was registered in Yerevan - 57.6% of the total, and the smallest in Vayots Dzor region (1.9%). -0-
