Over 50 companies showcase their products at Armprodekspo 2016

Some 50 companies from all over Armenia are showcasing their products at the annual agricultural exhibition Armprodekspo- 2016 that opened on Friday at Yerevan EXPO center.
YEREVAN, October 21. /ARKA/. Some 50 companies from all over Armenia are showcasing their products at the annual agricultural exhibition Armprodekspo- 2016 that opened on Friday at Yerevan EXPO center.
The objective of the event, held for the 16th time, is to present the best samples of local agricultural products and processing industry achievements. The exhibition also aims to help domestic producers and foreign commercial organizations establish direct business contacts.
In an interview with ARKA news agency, Hrayr Brutyan from the Export Insurance Agency, said their organization that provides loans to SME was founded with the assistance of the government in 2009.
"By providing loans to our producers, we encourage development of agriculture. We also fulfill leasing functions by offering agricultural machinery," – he added.
He said the organization has provided already 18 billion drams worth loans. "Our main customers are manufacturers, many of whom are taking part in today's show," - Brutyan said.
Suren Margaryan, director of Agro Food company, said they are the only company producing natural juices made of basil and mint.
'In the future we hope to expand output by producing useful products free from chemicals," - Margaryan said.
