Over AMD 25 million will be invested in modernization of Armenia’s healthcare sector, the press office of the country’s healthcare ministry reported on Tuesday.

YEREVAN, March 14. /ARKA/. Over AMD 25 million will be invested in modernization of Armenia’s healthcare sector, the press office of the country’s healthcare ministry reported on Tuesday.
As many as 42 modernization programs are being implemented.
“Many medical centers will be able to offer new services with using modern equipment,” the press office said in its news release.
In particular, medical laboratories in Shirak and Tavush provinces have been reconstructed thanks to a program implemented by the Armenian government in cooperation with the United States.
Laboratories in Lori, Gegharkunik and Syunik provinces are planned to be modernized as well.
The United States will invest AMD 4 billion in this project. ($1- AMD 485.84). ---0----
