President Armen Sarkissian travels to Lori on working visit

Armenian President Armen Sarkssian has travelled Saturday to Lori province for a working visit. In Vanadzor, he visited WABA Company’s plant that produces and deploys anti-hail facilities, the presidential press office reports.
YEREVAN, July 22. /ARKA/. Armenian President Armen Sarkssian has travelled Saturday to Lori province for a working visit. In Vanadzor, he visited WABA Company’s plant that produces and deploys anti-hail facilities, the presidential press office reports.
Accompanied by Armen Garajyan, the director of the company, Sarkissian toured the plant’s facilities and saw the production process. He was told that there is high-quality Italian equipment and raw materials at the plant.
The anti-hail webs produced by the plant protect crops not only from hail, but also from birds and insects. They are also able to protect crops from temperature fluctuations.
Representatives of the company told Sarkissian that there are still some problems relating to sales at Armenia’s market. The production is also in need of subsidizing.
Stressing the importance of the plant’s products, Sarkissian said that this is a modern technology used all over the world.
“The webs not only ensure protection from hail, but also create appropriate micro climate,” he said.
He said it is necessary to promote the use of domestic technology products. The president expressed willingness to support the company. -0---
