YEREVAN, August 19. /ARKA/. Prices for oil products in Armenia keep growing as world prices continue their downward motion, Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time) reports.
According to the newspaper, petrol prices leapt almost 2.5% in Armenia over the last two months, while in Europe petrol prices dived 6% and in Russia they plunged about 20%.
The thing is that Russian petrol dominates Armenia's petrol import, and Russia's petrol export business is monopolized by Rosneft, Russia's sole petrol exporter, who imposes its unjustified prices on Armenia. ---0---
