Armenian Economic Development and Investments Minister Tigran Khachatryan met Friday with Italian Stoneware Vice President Federico Polidori, the ministry’s press office reports.

Production of ceramic tableware of Italian brand to be established in Armenia
YEREVAN, February 4. /ARKA/. Armenian Economic Development and Investments Minister Tigran Khachatryan met Friday with Italian Stoneware Vice President Federico Polidori, the ministry’s press office reports. 

According to the report, Italian Ambassador to Armenia Vincenzo del Monaco was present at the meeting. 
Italian entrepreneurs have informed the minister that they intend to establish the production of tableware made from the ceramic solids of Ceramisia brand. 

Polidori told Khachatryan that 150 jobs will be created at the tableware-producing factory. 
The plant’s products will be released with the mark “Designed in Italy, Made in Armenia”. 
Polidori said that Armenia has a rich and interesting history, and this circumstance has been considered as advantage for establishing the production in the country. 

Thanking Polidory for the initiative, Khachatryan said that the establishment of such industries brings not only economic benefits to Armenia, but also a new culture, experience and knowledge.
The minister pledged support to the investors in solution of problems in the implementation of the program. 

He discussed with the company representatives a number of issues related to the investment program. The provision of preferences to the company was among the issues discussed at the meeting.
