PSRC rules to penalize Electric Networks of Armenia in the amount of 20 million drams

Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) has ruled today to penalize Armenia’s Russian-owned national power utility -Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) - in the amount of 20 million drams.
YEREVAN, April 18. / ARKA /. ARKA /. Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) has ruled today to penalize Armenia’s Russian-owned national power utility -Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) - in the amount of 20 million drams.
Hayk Gosalmyan, head of a PSRC unit in charge of financial analyses, said the company is penalized for ‘incomplete transfer of electricity bills to its special account as well as for delayed and incomplete payment of debts to electricity suppliers.’
The company is given two weeks to pay the penalty and take also action to pay the debt to electricity suppliers. On January 14, 2015, this company had been already penalized in the amount of 10 million drams for the same breaches.
The Electric Networks of Armenia is a 100% subsidiary of Russian Inter RAO UES. ($1 – 472.28 drams). --0--
