YEREVAN, March 5. /ARKA/. Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has lifted today earlier imposed restrictions on the imports of vegetables from a number of countries, including Armenia.

According to the agency, imports of tomatoes are allowed from Armenia and Azerbaijan; tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and eggplant from Turkey, tomatoes and peppers from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and potatoes from Egypt.

The decision was made, in particular, based on the results of measures taken to prevent violations of the phytosanitary requirements of the Russian Federation and EEU member countries. --0--
