Russian trade representation in Armenia moves to new premises

Russian Federation’s Trade Representation in Armenia has moved today to its new office, located at Imperium Plaza business center in central Yerevan.

YEREVAN, June 26. / ARKA /. Russian Federation’s Trade Representation in Armenia has moved today to its new office, located at Imperium Plaza business center in central Yerevan.
Oleg Mizerkov, the director of a Russian economy ministry department in charge of relations with Customs Union and CIS member countries, said moving to the new office ‘marks the completion of a stage in the concept of creating a new image of Russian trade missions abroad.’
"This work has been under way for two years, and we can already see its results, one of which is becoming more oriented towards business, particularly in the field of SMEs,' he said.
Mizerkov also stressed that moving to a more convenient office is especially important in the context of Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union that has opened a lot of new opportunities for both Russian and Armenian businessmen.
The ceremony was attended by Russian transport minister Maxim Sokolov, Armenian minister of transport and communications Gagik Beglaryan, the head of the Trade Representation Andrei Babko, other officials, guests and journalists.
The Russian Trade Representation has been operating in Armenia since 2006. -0-
