South Caucasus Railways discuss results of spring inspection of the facility

The Russian-run South Caucasus Railways (SCR) company operating Armenian railroads discussed today the findings of spring inspection of the tracks, roadbed and structures, devices, power, automation, remote control and communication.
YEREVAN, May 3. / ARKA /. The Russian-run South Caucasus Railways (SCR) company operating Armenian railroads discussed today the findings of spring inspection of the tracks, roadbed and structures, devices, power, automation, remote control and communication.
SCR CEO Victor Rebets stressed that the most important task of the inspection was to conduct a full investigation of infrastructure, its assessment, identifying gaps and omissions, the preparation of the railway to the active season of summer passenger traffic.
Special attention was paid to the issues of labor and organizational discipline, evaluation of organizational leadership and instructor structure of divisions aimed at safe operation.
During the meeting presentations were made by chiefs, heads of the industrial enterprises and divisions of the Company who reported on the problems identified during the inspection.
The meeting discussed measures to ensure the safe operation of the track, power supply devices, automation, remote control and a proper state of roadbed and structures.
During the inspection considerable work was carried out to bring in the proper order the railway equipment, infrastructure, all sector farms, industrial and public facilities of the road. Victor Rebets personally supervised the implementation of the technology inspection, in which the defects found were eliminated immediately within strict deadlines by the decision makers up to the level of deputy CEO of the railway.
Currently, the SCR continues spring commission inspection of locomotives and motor-wagon rolling stock in which special attention will be paid to fire fighting at trains, devices and equipment, inspection of HVAC systems. -0-
