Armavia is one of the first customers of Sukhoi Superjet 100, along with the Russian Aeroflot. The first SSJ-100 was delivered to it April 19, 2011. Aeroflot has ordered 30 such aircrafts. Transaero said this week it plans to order six SSJ 100.

The company expects to enter into contracts for the supply of 50-100 Sukhoi Superjet- 100 in 2012, and manufacture a total of 490 by 2020.
