YEREVAN, March 11. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, speaking at the session of the Indian Council on World Affairs (ICWA) in New Delhi, outlined the areas in which Armenia and India can establish mutually beneficial cooperation.

“Especially promising areas of interaction are high technologies, IT, education, science, tourism, aviation, logistics and pharmaceuticals,” Mirzoyan said.

He noted that the development of tourism not only brings economic benefits, but also promotes mobility and contacts between people, fostering mutual understanding. “We are actively working on establishing direct flights between Yerevan and New Delhi,” the Armenian minister said.

According to Mirzoyan, new prospects are also opening up in the field of green energy, combining Armenian potential and Indian experience. He recalled that in 2024 Armenia joined the International Solar Alliance, jointly initiated by India and France.

Back in 2023, Armenia and India signed a memorandum of understanding on sharing digital solutions across the population. “During the visit, we plan to sign a document on cooperation in the sphere of regulating the turnover of medical products,” Mirzoyan said.
