The company “Amberd HPP” in Armenia plans to invest about 790 million drams in the construction of cascade HPP, said Armenian Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan.
YEREVAN, January 26. /ARKA/. The company “Amberd HPP” in Armenia plans to invest about 790 million drams in the construction of cascade HPP, said Armenian Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan.
Government of Armenia on Thursday adopted a decision to delay for “Amberd HPP” VAT payments defined by customs services for the goods amounting over 300 million drams till November 10, 2014.
“It is planned to increase working places two times in the company”, he said.
The company established in 2004 deals with the construction of the cascade of three HPPs in the village Orgov in Aragatsotn region of Armenia. The first HPP is operating now, construction of the second HPP has been finished and construction of the third station is continuing.
The company plans to buy three generators of Czech production costing 370.5 million drams. It has 20 working places.
According to the amended law “On Value Added Tax” by the initiative of the Government of Armenia in April 2009 VAT payment for the companies importing goods to Armenia, new technologies or equipment in the amount over 300 million drams or investment package not exceeding the mentioned amount, is delayed for three years.
