YEREVAN, March 26. / ARKA /. Top managers of Armenian pharmaceutical companies will meet for the fifth time on March 29-30 in the Armenian resort town of Aghveran to discuss in an informal atmosphere a new draft law "On Medications" and the sector’s future strategy.

The Union of Medications Producers said the gathering will be attended by representatives of 40 companies, engaged in production of medicines, heads of Armenian offices of international pharmaceutical companies, importers as well as health and economy ministers Derenik Dumanyan and Vahram Avanesyan.

The Union of Medications Producers and Importers founded in 2003 brings together 23 leading Armenian pharmaceutical companies.

Its main purpose is to help local companies integrate with international pharmaceutical market and ensure fair and equal competition. -0-
