YEREVAN, January 17. /ARKA/. VTB Bank (Armenia) said today it was the number one bank in the country in 2019 by the number of ATMs and branches.
The bank said in a press release that in 2019 it ran 188 ATMs across the country, of which 88 were in the capital city Yerevan and the rest in provinces. Today, another ATM has opened in MegaMall Armenia in Yerevan.
The bank is also the leader by the number of branches, running 27 branches in Yerevan and 45 beyond it. Out of the total ATMs, 31 are equipped, apart from all the basic functions, also with the Cash-in and Recycling functions, allowing customers not only to withdraw cash from a bank card and make card-to-card money transfers, but also to instantly place cash on their cards for free.
To date, 30 self-service zones are available throughout Armenia, including in Yerevan and the regions, available to customers around the clock seven days a week. The self-service zones, in addition to ATMs, are also equipped with payment terminals that can be used to pay for as many as 300 services.
As a result, the 24/7 self-service zones of VTB Bank (Armenia) provide customers with the main range of banking services, eliminating the need to visit its branches during the bank's operating hours.
“We remind that the cash-in ATMs of VTB Bank (Armenia) are very convenient simplifying the process of making bank transactions as much as possible,” the bank said.
The Cash-in ATMs can be used to replenish cards free and online, to instantly use the amount deposited through the ATM and make all kinds of payments, to enter different bills into the ATM not in turn, but in a bundle, to change the PIN code, to make card to card money transfers, to receive card account statements and to pay for utilities.
In 2020, the Bank plans to expand both its branch network by opening new branches in some regions of Armenia and to increase the number of ATMs both in Yerevan and in the regions.
VTB Bank (Armenia) is overseen by the Central Bank of Armenia. It became a member of VTB International Financial Group in 2004. At present, the second largest VTB Bank PJSC in Russia owns 100% of VTB Bank (Armenia) shares. VTB Bank (Armenia) is one of the leading banks in Armenia in terms of some key indicators. -0-
