VTB Bank (Armenia) partners regional conference on human resources management

More than 200 HR experts from Armenia, the USA, Poland, Germany, Austria, Malaysia, Jordan, Oman, Egypt, Lebanon, Kazakhstan and other countries gathered in Armenia's capital city Yerevan for the VIII regional conference on Human Resource Management to share their ideas and experience.
YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. More than 200 HR experts from Armenia, the USA, Poland, Germany, Austria, Malaysia, Jordan, Oman, Egypt, Lebanon, Kazakhstan and other countries gathered in Armenia's capital city Yerevan for the VIII regional conference on Human Resource Management to share their ideas and experience. The gathering was held on November 1-2 with the support of VTB Bank (Armenia) said.
The bank said the conference, entitled “Work of the Future”, was organized for the 8th time in Armenia and was a joint initiative of Cascade People & Business and HR Association of Armenia.
“This is the eighth conference we are organizing in Armenia, and the results are only encouraging. We looked into a string of issues that concern our community, worked together, shared experience, gained new knowledge and developed an action plan for each area. With every year the conference is becoming more popular both in Armenia and abroad, expanding its geography. The theme of the next year will also be chosen by the participants," said Arpi Karapetyan, President of the HR Association of Armenia, founder of Cascade People & Business.
This year's conference was held in the format of lectures and panels. On the second day of the conference, the professional community, based on data published by the World Economic Forum, industry experts and their own professional experience, identified key problems and possible ways to resolve them.
“For our team, as one of the leading employers in Armenia, it was important to share our knowledge and experience with our partners, to learn and train, as well as to inspire, speak and receive feedback from leading specialists of the region. The conference has become an effective platform for the group of our companies looking to the future, and we thank the organizers for creating such a platform," said Elmira Hovhannisyan, HR Director at Galaxy Group of Companies.
The event was attended by human resource managers, CEOs, trainers, consultants and other interested parties from local and international organizations. It hosted specially invited internationally renowned speakers from all over the world who shared their vision and approaches in this area. In addition, the moderators held seminars on the work of the future with well-known experts in this field.
“We already live and work in the future, and therefore, understand that the work of the future requires new skills and abilities, and we do our best to improve the skills of our employees. The panel discussions revealed how HR managers should prepare for the challenges of the century. I am glad that VTB Bank (Armenia) became a partner in this important international conference, as a result of which, I hope, many employees will become happier, more productive and more competitive," chief of staff of VTB Bank (Armenia) Astghik Sargsyan said.
Other partners of the 8th Regional Conference on HR Management were VanArdi, Mexican restaurant Los Pablos, SanHouse, colored books Pes-Pes, Majorel and Go Armenia travel company.
