Wizz Air operates maiden flight from Vienna to Yerevan

YEREVAN, March 21. /ARKA/. The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air operated its maiden flight from the Austrian capital Vienna to Yerevan, Armenia, on March 20, Armenia's Civil Aviation Committee reported.
It said 4 citizens of Armenia arrived from Vienna to Yerevan, and 8 citizens of Austria left Yerevan for Vienna.
Wizz Air corporate director Andras Rado said in December 2019 that the company planned to start flights from Yerevan to Vienna and Vilnius, Lithuania, in April 2020.
The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Vecsé. It operates mainly in Central Europe with bases at airports in Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Georgia, the Republic of Macedonia, and Moldova.
