YEREVAN, May 15. /ARKA/. Zeppelin Armenia, a branch of German Zeppelin GmbH, said today it will open a service center May 16 in the town of Abovyan in central Kotayk region. The event will be attended by U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, John Heffern, German Ambassador Hans-Jochen Schmidt and Armenian Ministers of Economy and Transport, Tigran Davtyan and Manuk Vardanyan. The service center will be the first in the region, equipped with modern machinery.

Zeppelin Armenia was founded in June 2005 and is the exclusive representative of Caterpillar in Armenia. It deals with sales of construction, road building and mining machinery and also provides maintenance and supply of spare parts. The company has branches in Abovyan, Teghout, Sotk and Kajaran.

Zeppelin GmbH is a German company, the largest dealer of U.S. Caterpillar’s machinery. It has over 200 branches and operates in 17 countries including USA, Brazil, India, China, Western and Eastern Europe, Middle East, Asia and CIS countries. -0-
