199,000 tons of bread produced in Armenia in Jan-Aug 2010

The National Statistical Service of Armenia says 199,000 tons of bread were produced in Armenia in Jan-Aug 2010.

YEREVAN, October 7. /ARKA/. The National Statistical Service of Armenia says 199,000 tons of bread were produced in Armenia in Jan-Aug 2010.

The country’s grain output grew 89.8% in Jan-Aug 2010 to 250.2 tons against the 313.8 tons produced at the same period a year earlier.

According to the statistical report, Armenia’s flour output grew 21.1% in Jan-Aug 2010, compared with the same period of the previous year, to 99,900 tons.

Some 6798.5 tons of confectionery were produced in Armenia in Jan-Aug 2010 (12.8% year-on-year growth).-0--
