Management of group of companies “Grand-Holding” is not going to move its businesses from Armenia to other countries, said one of the founders of the holding, member of parliament Mikael Vardanyan.
YEREVAN, April 28. /ARKA/. Management of group of companies “Grand-Holding” is not going to move its businesses from Armenia to other countries, said one of the founders of the holding, member of parliament Mikael Vardanyan in the official opening of the new sports and fitness center “Grand-sport” in Yerevan.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan attended the opening ceremony. He walked around the sports complex, got familiar with the courts and playgrounds.

“If we wanted to leave Armenia, we would not build such a complex. We want to become a large company which will export products around the world”, said Vardanyan.

Volume of investments of “Grand-Holding” in the establishment of sports complex is $7 million. The complex is 7 thousand sq. meters and all the conditions for dealing with 12 types of sports, including squash, swimming, tennis, beach volleyball, mini-football and basketball and climbing are created. There is also a gym and children's sports hall, bars, cafes and saunas.

“Talks on transfer of business abroad is not true. We make investments in different countries, present our products, thereby improving the image of Armenian products, but we have no intention to transfer our business to other countries”, said Vardanyan.

The companies “Grand Tobacco” and “Masis Tobacco” producing tobacco products, local confectionary “Grand Candy”, TV company “AR” and other companies are included in the group of companies “Grand-Holding”. —0--
