The company “Electric networks of Armenia” submitted Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia (PSRC) investment program 2011 in the amount of 18 138.8 million drams for approval.
YEREVAN, June 7. /ARKA/. The company “Electric networks of Armenia” submitted Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia (PSRC) investment program 2011 in the amount of 18 138.8 million drams for approval.
More than the third of the given amount - about 7 364.2 million drams is planned to allocate for events on the reduction of average annual frequency and duration of cutoffs of electricity of consumers, including 400 million drams for reconstruction of distribution networks with the voltage of 0.4 kilovolt, about 3.22 billion drams – networks 6 (10) kilovolt, over 3 billion drams - networks 110 kilovolt.
Four billion drams is planned to invest in the connection of new consumers. Another 1.96 billion drams are the investments for rehabilitation of relay protection in sub-stations with the voltage of 110 kilovolt.
According to the program of “Electric networks of Armenia”, substitution of meters will be over 1.03 billion drams and the investments for the provision of security and substitution of old equipment - 723 million drams.
The size of investments for other expenses related to the operation of distributive network will be 788.1 million drams.
“Electric networks of Armenia” possesses and manages distributive networks of Armenia of medium and low voltage, as well as is the exclusive seller of electricity for all the consumers in the territory of the country. The owner of 100% shares of “Electric networks of Armenia” is the Russian company INTER RAO EEC.
INTER RAO EEC is a Russian company having a number of generating and distributive assets in Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Transdniestria and Finland. The defined capacity of electrical stations of the company is about 18 thousand megawatt. Charter capital of INTER RAO EEC is 63.897 billion rubles, 57.3% belongs to state corporation “Rosatom”.
