YEREVAN, July 28. / ARKA /. Armenia expects a differentiated approach and assessments from the European Union to the countries embraced by its Eastern Partnership program, Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan said today during a joint news conference with the visiting president of Poland, Bronislaw Komorowski.

"We implement reforms not to get assessments, but because we realize that without these reforms we will not be able to build a strong society and state," said Sargsyan.

The Armenian president also noted that when reforms are estimated not in terms of their quality, but by some other principles, this contradicts the main principle of the Eastern Partnership which can be formulated as "large support for greater progress."

In turn, the president of Poland, Bronislaw Komorowski, said he expects Armenia to take active part in the summit of the Eastern Partnership that is scheduled to take place at the end of September this year in Warsaw.  -0-
