The USA allocated $40-45mln for improving the level of power security of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in the last years, Armenia’s Minister of Energy Armen Movsisian told journalists.
YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. The USA allocated $40-45mln for improving the level of power security of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in the last years, Armenia’s Minister of Energy Armen Movsisian told journalists.
He also attached importance to the U.S. involvement in other energy projects within the territory of Armenia.
“In the last several years a program on establishing an accounting system for electricity in distribution networks is successfully implemented in Armenia in cooperation with the U.S. Government and the program has already produced practical results,” Movsisian said.
Automated systems of electricity control and records are meant for automated collection, accumulation, processing, storage and display of data on electricity consumption received through digital interfaces. The information obtained through these systems will allow solving technical, economic and statistical problems. –0--
