Armenia and UAE aim to develop economic cooperation

YEREVAN, November 8. /ARKA/. Cooperation between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been growing dynamically, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said today at a meeting in Yerevan with Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, UAE Minister of State for Trade and Economic Affairs.
Pashinyan welcomed the visit of the UAE delegation to Armenia and highlighted the implementation of joint steps for the development and expansion of bilateral trade and economic ties.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the visit of the State Minister will give a new push to the strengthening of Armenia-UAE ties, the press service of the Armenian Government reported.
In his turn, Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh said he had fruitful discussions with the Armenian partners on expansion of cooperation and possible projects.
At the meeting the relations between the two countries, as well as other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
According to Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan, Armenia's trade with the Emirates has grown 10 times in the last 2-3 years to over $1 billion. -0-
