Armenia elected co-chair of OECD's Asia Initiative

YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. Armenia has been elected co-chair of the Asia Initiative, the main regional platform of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
According to the Armenian State Revenue Committee (SRC), SRC chairman Rustam Badasyan will co-chair this platform on behalf of Armenia for the next two years.
In his speech on the occasion of his election, Badasyan outlined Armenia's priorities in the status of co-chair, which will include expansion of the Asian Initiative and development of the potential of opportunities.
In the next two years the Armenian co-chair plans to implement a number of international events in Armenia, including the 6th Forum of the Asian Initiative in the 2nd quarter of 2024.
The Asian Initiative was established under the aegis of the Global Forum of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 2022. It aims to promote the dissemination of international standards on information exchange and tax transparency in OECD countries by developing customized solutions. --0--
