Armenia interested in expanding cooperation with Brazil in tourism and high technology areas

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received on Monday Brazilian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Fabio Vaz Pitaluga, the government press service reported.

Armenia interested in expanding cooperation with Brazil in tourism and high technology areas

YEREVAN, February 12. /ARKA/. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received on Monday Brazilian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Fabio Vaz Pitaluga, the government press service reported.

It said Khachatryan stressed the importance of consistent development of the partnership between the two countries, expressing hope that it will be expanded in such areas as tourism, high technologies and others. 

The Ambassador, in his turn, assured that he will do his best to help strengthen the bilateral relations. The interlocutors also touched upon a wide range of issues of mutual interest.

According to Armenia’s National Statistical Committee, the trade turnover between Armenia and Brazil decreased by 21.3% in 2023 from the previous year to $66.4 million. -0-
